The poem I loved.

May All Your Dreams Come True

By: Susan Polis Schutz

Lean against a tree

and dream your world of dreams

Work hard at what you like to

do and try to overcome all obstacles

Laugh at your mistakes

and praise yourself for learning from them

Pick some flowers

and appreciate the beauty of nature

Say hello to strangers

and enjoy the people you know

Don’t be afraid to show your emotions

Laughing and crying make you feel better

Love your friends and family with your entire being

They are the most important part of your life

Feel the calmness on a quiet sunny day

and plan what you want to accomplish in life

Find a rainbow

and live your world of dreams

S- The subject is your dreams; make them come true. Don’t be afraid.

O- The occasion is the poet giving her audience advice about how to reach their dreams.

A-  The audience of this poem is people who want to reach their dreams.

P-  The purpose is to get people to live a happier life and also to inspire them to accomplish their dreams in life so they won’t live life with regrets; because I bet when peole achieve their goals, they get very happy.

S- The speaker is a person who wants to give advice to people so they can live a happier life.

TONE- The tone of this poem is content, inspiring, blissful, optimistic, etc.

This poem actually includes a little of personification. It has some “near rhyme”. It actually doesn’t have any stanzas. Susan uses imagery that I absolutley enjoyed.
